A Western New York company is laying off hundreds of employees. According to "Business First," Pillar Processing in Amherst has filed noticed with the State Department of Labor to begin the process of laying off nearly 600 of its workers there, and on Long Island.

There is no word on exactly how many employees from the Amherst office will be let go.
