Israeli company Pri Hagalil postpones layoffs

It was decided, Monday, that the Pri Hagalil produce processing plant in the Galilee town of Chatzor Haglilit would withdraw, by one month, the layoff notices it has sent 50 workers. In exchange, workers at the plant will go back to work.

The Knesset Finance Committee, where the decision was reached, will work with the Treasury and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Labor in an attempt to find a solution for the financially-troubled company.
